1. Title: Multi-year Capacity Development Program on Technology and Policy (TAP) for four Asian Countries
2. Training period (21 days) : March 26 (Thurs) – April.15 (Wed), 2015
3. Aims and scope of the training program
The main objective of the training program is to provide opportunities for government officials from four Asian Countries (Bangladesh, East Timor, Pakistan, and the Philippines) to enhance their understanding and skills in the area of science and technology policy development. Topics and issues to be covered in the training program are summarized as follows.

4. Number of Participants: 16 officials in the field of science and technology policy from 4 Asian Countries
The training will consist of four methods: (1) lectures and presentations, (2) case studies of best practices, (3) study visits and field trips, and (4) team projects. Workshops will be conducted by Korean experts from government research institutes, relevant government agencies and academia for the participants to come up with revised action plans in link to last year(2014)’s TAP workshop.
Lecturers and instructors of the training program will not be only from STEPI but also from other related organizations and agencies specializing in S&T policy, technical standards, ICT international collaboration, S&T Park models and many more.
