The delegation led by Northeast Asia Project Team of STEPI-IICC visited Shanghai to participate in Korea-China (Shanghai) Innovation Policy Seminar held at Shanghai Academy of Science & Technology (SAST) on July 13th, 2016.
Opening session was delivered by Chinese delegation with the remarks by Mr. Cao Amin (Vice President of SAST). The first presentation covered the main policy on ‘Chinese Innovation’ and the following presentation noted a redesign of entrepreneurship education and psychological change of young entrepreneurs.
Session 1 of the seminar, delivered by Korean delegation, covered the topics of 1) current status of young start-up and future direction, 2) success factors and issues of young start-up, and 3) joint establishment plan for Seoul-Shanghai Zhongchuang Kongjian which is a business incubator where pre-entrepreneurs and start-ups are supported with spaces, technologies, and fund.
Session 2, also presented by Chinese delegation, highlighted the current operation status of Zhongchuang Kongjian of Shanghai Industrial Technology Institute (SITI) and successful cases of entrepreneurs at Shanghai Zhongchuang Kongjian.
